When you started with Eye Shine and your role: I began with Eye Shine in August of 2024. My roles is just to offer feedback/support where it is needed. I love working with those who are blind/visually impaired and building connection.
 

Favorite hobbies: I play guitar and write music, attend church, host game nights, photographer and enjoy the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, boating, biking, etc.

Favorite quote or saying: “It’s not I can’t but rather how can I.” This is something my dad always instilled in me. I am visually impaired and there have always been challenges facing day to day life. He always taught me that if I wanted something bad enough, I could figure out a way to make it happen. It is always a choice.
